Yes, this most likely has corrupted some files.

Did you at any point close the launcher, or lose internet connection during the patch?

Can you attach the dbolog.txt from your client folder?

Where did you download the game from? and have you ran the launcher/dbo.exe as adminstrator since you are installed into C:\Program Files?

We already have mobile readiness for the website. all you need to do is go into browser options and click "Add to Home screen" but for an in-game companion app that would be a great addition, and we'd love to put that on the table.

no that is the way to download it, but we've had users download it from other locations. which always had issues. We've been looking into this, and it appears to be solely an issue with Windows Defender and our setup packager, as it seems, just about everyone that uses the same software is having this issue. https://github.com/xenko3d/xenko/issues/285 example of another developer having the same issue.

The Registration page should have a little message underneath, I am however in the process of redesigning the registration page. The Height adjustment is a very alpha level of a trial idea, and we might not even use it. The hair color is slightly odd because it's actually just more purple, which is also just a trial feature of adding more hair colors. Quests we are aware aren't working because of the way they are handled now (from item to direct xp), this should be fixed before we leave alpha of-course. Thank you for opinion however.

We're currently in the middle of a massive content update, and as such, a majority of the game systems has had significant updates to both User Interface and the way that the rewards are handled, which in turn has made them extremely unstable, we hope to have this fixed soon. This issue is either the "Launcher.exe" is currently already running, or you need to run the Launcher as admin. To check if the "Launcher.exe" is running open task manger by right clicking the start bar or pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete or Ctrl+Shift+Escape at the same time, and looking for it in processes. to run the Launcher as admin, right click the shortcut or the program directly and click "Run as Administrator"

Yes, we've had quite a few patches since our release. it will continue downloading and patching to latest version, provided you have 10GB of free space, it will without error, get to the point in which it will say "Done". If you've closed the launcher while it was patching, you will need to delete the "version.txt" file in your launcher folder.

I don't recommend you use Windows XP for anything, please upgrade to at-least Windows 7, or Windows 10 (Which can be downloaded for free, from Microsoft)

Hi, that's not an issue with the installation, you just don't have an updated directX, this can be resolved by downloading the latest End User Runtime; https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=35

Since you get accelerated XP (x10) you will need to move from area to area, rather quickly.

please, try redownloading the launcher from https://universe.dborevelations.com/download/ but at that point; It's unpacking in the background, just leave it for a few moments or a little while depending on your harddrive write speed.
